I specialize in not only fixing your computer but also teaching you how to maintain your system. My business model is the complete opposite of many in my field. Most technicians just clean your computer up then give it back to you. Of course they don't tell you how you got infected and most of the time they don't even tell you how to prevent an infection in the first place. Eventually your problems will come back as your computing habits haven't changed. Then you have to take your PC back to them to get it cleaned again. This business model guarantees them repeat business.
My business model does the opposite. I will teach you as I go along how to properly maintain your system and keep it clean of virus and malware. While this may keep me from getting the repeat business of cleaning the same PC over and over, I get many more referrals from my customers to their friends and family.

I use free software whenever possible. Often the free ones perform better than software that you would pay for. For most home users the free versions of software are sufficient. However if you want the added bit of protection provided by the professional versions of software, I am an authorized reseller of some great security software.
